Cabrits National Park
Cabrits National Park is on a peninsula in the north of the Caribbean island of Dominica. The park protects the tropical forest, coral reefs, and wetlands with hiking trails and an English garrison called Fort Shirley. Cabrits National Park exploration 1,313 acres, it was established in 1986. Cabrits is the last stop on the Waitukubuli Trail which originates in the southern village of Scott’s Head.
Cabrits park’s highlight is the site of 18th-century Fort Shirley, where 600 British troops were once housed. Today, the old officer’s quarters have been renovated and repurposed as an event center. In addition, it is also used for Weddings, Concerts, the annual Dominica Jazz ‘n’ Creole Festival, and other events are held here. Roaming the surrounding jungle, exploring other parts of the fort’s ruins on short, easy hikes, and enjoying dazzling views of Prince Rupert Bay from the event center are one of the most popular suggestions that visitors often do when coming here.

Champagne Reef
Champagne Reef is a place for visitors to explore two distinct underwater worlds while snorkeling off the coast of Dominica, with popular reefs along “Champagne Beach” with small rising gas bubbles & extensive marine life viewing. Emerald Pool
Emerald Pool is The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Morne Trois Piton National Park is home to the enchanting Emerald Pool. Many waterfall grottos can be found along the road to Castle Bruce, for visitors it is an easy 30-minute hike through the rainforest. Also, Emerald Pool has a cave and walkway behind the waterfall for those who prefer not to get in the pool. This is also an excellent place to spot Jacquot parrots.
Emerald Pool is known for its crystal clear waters and lush forest surroundings. The water has an emerald green color, therefore the name Emerald Pool. The Emerald pool has no artificiality and is surrounded by a lush jungle. Guests can swim or walk out to the waterfall and stand under it. The entry cost to the emerald pool is 200 Baht for each adult and 100 Baht per child. There is also a parking cost, which is 30 Baht for a car, 20 Baht for a motorbike and 10 Baht for a scooter.

Freshwater Lake
Freshwater Lake is one of the largest of Dominica’s four lakes, which is located at just over 2,500 ft above sea level and is the natural source of the Roseau River. Freshwater Lake is a half-day hike into Morne Trois Pitons National Park from the village of Laudat. The lake has been dammed to provide water to generate electricity, then the lake also attracts tourism development, tourists often come here to explore to study these high and wide tropical forests.
Visitor can go here by car or taxi and is near a parking area and walk a scenic trail that encircles the lake in about 30 minutes to see the forest’s diverse vegetation including Ferns, mountain palms, and a variety of tropical flora like heliconias, orchids, and bromeliads offer vibrant color to the lush vegetation, variety making the walk a pleasant one. However, Freshwater Lake is located in a cloudy and rainy valley, and adventurers can enjoy kayaking at the nearby center.

Kalinago Territory
The Kalinago Territory, previously known as the Carib Territory, is a 3,700-acre district in the Caribbean island nation of Dominica. It was originally established for the indigenous Kalinago people who inhabited the region. From 2006 on, the Kalinago Territory has supported the rediscovery and preservation of Kalinago culture, since then, the tourism industry in this village has also become the main economic source of the region.
At the Kalinago Territory, visitors will experience traditional indigenous cultures, cultural conservation groups performing at traditional stages, preserved basketry and pottery crafts, and To sell to tourists as souvenirs, they mainly sell handmade gifts, including traditional Larouma basket products.
