Although there are no museums or culturally significant monuments on these islands, there are pristine beaches, crystal clear water, and beautiful coral reefs at the appropriately named Coral Bay, as well as sunsets that will linger in your memories for a long time after you have to return home.
In Malaysia, this is the best place to go snorkeling and scuba diving. You can also go on jungle treks and participate in activities such as kayaking.
Despite the fact that there isn’t much else to do on the island, its natural environment showcases the best of Malaysia, and it is one of my favorite places to visit in Malaysia.

Penang – The Finest Of All
The state of Penang is another popular Malaysia tourist destination and top destination in Malaysia. This state, which is quite diverse, offers many Malaysia places to visit for both first-time and return visitors, and it’s one of my personal favorite places to visit in Malaysia.
There is a multicultural mix of influences, as well as plenty of beaches, interesting architecture, and reasonably priced resort style lodging. It’s also one of the best places to eat in Malaysia, with some of the cheapest food.
If you’re wondering where to go in Malaysia, Penang has a lot to offer in terms of things to do and see. Penang is home to important and culturally significant temples such as Lok Si Temple, as well as British colonial remnants such as Fort Cornwallis, which dates back to the British occupation of Penang in the 18th century, and the historic George Town.
Indeed, the combination of great food, interesting heritage, beaches, and ease of getting here and around makes Penang my personal choice for the best place in Malaysia and undoubtedly one of the best holiday destinations in Malaysia in 2022. If you’re new to Malaysia, there are plenty of places to visit in Penang.

On these islands, you’ll find some of Malaysia’s best hotels and resorts for a luxurious vacation. Aside from luxury and spectacular views, Redang’s thriving diving scene makes it one of Malaysia’s most exciting tourist destinations.
