House Of MinaLima takes first place on the list of best Harry Potter things to do in London. House of MimaLima created the graphic props for the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films. Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima collaborated on the graphic universe of the Harry Potter film series for Warner Bros. in 2002. They crafted the entire graphic style of all the Harry Potter films, sharing a common artistic vision, and have since opened a gallery and store showcasing their entire treasury of graphic works.
This store/exhibition is an absolute creatives’ paradise, and it’s a fantastic place to pick up some unique works of art for your home, or even small gifts to take home and display. The prints on display can be purchased, and there is a Harry Potter-themed shop on the ground floor. Overall, it’s a really interesting place for Harry Potter fans to explore, and best of all, it’s completely free. The London exhibit is located at 26 Greek St, Soho and is open daily from 10.30am to 7pm.

Studios Tour London is a permanent exhibit that provides an authentic behind-the-scenes look at the Harry Potter films. One of the most popular tourist attractions in the UK, this is a must-see on any Harry Potter itinerary! “Step onto authentic sets, discover the magic behind spellbinding special effects, and delve into the Harry Potter film series’ behind-the-scenes secrets.” Explore the iconic Hogwarts Great Hall’s original stone floor, meet animatronic creatures, and stroll down Diagon Alley. The Studio Tour, which is located at the Studios where all eight films were produced, showcases the incredible British talent, imagination, and artistry that went into making the impossible a reality on screen.”
It’s located in Leavesden, which is a little outside of central London, so the best way to get there is to book a Warner Bros Studio Tour, which includes transfers. The first tour begins at 10:00 a.m., and the last tour takes place between 16:00 and 18:30 p.m. (depending upon the time of year, school holidays and weekends). Tickets are £80-£85 per person and must be purchased in advance.

Harry Potter & The Cursed Child Show
Jack Thorne’s 2016 British two-part play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is based on an original story by J. K. Rowling, John Tiffany, and Thorne. It is currently being performed in six different cities around the world: London, New York, Melbourne, San Francisco, Hamburg, and Toronto. The plays depict what happens after the films end, and the story is performed live on stage: “While Harry struggles with a past that refuses to stay put, his youngest son Albus must bear the burden of a family legacy he never wanted.” As the past and present merge ominously, both father and son learn the unsettling truth: “Darkness can come from unexpected places.”
The Palace Theatre in London’s West End hosts the show, and Leicester Square is the closest tube station. It’s only a 5-minute walk to the theater. The play is divided into two acts, with performances available from Wednesday to Sunday. If you want to see both parts of the play in one day, the best days to go are Wednesdays and Saturdays, when Part 1 begins at 2pm and Part 2 begins at 7.30pm. Tickets start at £15 per performance (£30 for both parts), but can cost up to £80 per performance (£160 for both parts) depending on seating. Both times and prices are available on the Harry Potter The Play website, and for more mature fans, this is an excellent addition to the Harry Potter things to do in London list!

In the movies, students must take the train from Platform 9 3/4 on September 1st to get to school. You can, however, visit and take photos at possibly London’s most famous Harry Potter location 365 days a year!
It’s easy to locate the luggage trolley embedded in the wall. Take the tube to Kings Cross Underground Station and then to Kings Cross Rail Station, following the exit signs. Once inside the overground station, look for the large black departure boards that list all of the train departure times. Turn to the left when facing the boards, and you won’t miss it. The Harry Potter shop is right next door. Time turners, horcruxes, and games, as well as Hogwarts school jumpers in house colors, are available in this shop, which is designed to look like Ollivander’s wand emporium.
The trolley is open 24 hours a day, and you are not charged to take your own photographs. Every day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., a professional photographer is on hand. Offering the service of photographing you with a scarf in your house colors, which is then displayed and sold inside the Harry Potter shop next door.

There are several Hardy’s Sweetshops in London, but the most central are those near Leicester Square Underground Station. They went to the one at 52 Charing Cross Rd, and it was a candy lover’s paradise!
